Cadence Announces Global Series of Seminars on Mixed-Signal Design

SAN JOSE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Feb 03, 2011 -- As part of its EDA360 Tech on Tour program , Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CDNS), a leader in global electronic design innovation, has announced a series of technical sessions -- from San Jose to Japan -- on the intricacies of mixed-signal design.

WHAT: Successfully taping out a mixed-signal design on schedule with the lowest power consumption and within budget is becoming more and more challenging as the mixed-signal designs become bigger and more complex. Cadence has scheduled a series of global technical seminars with its mixed-signal R&D experts to discuss best practices for realizing today's highly integrated and complex mixed-signal designs more productively and profitably. Attendees will learn about case studies of how companies are successfully using Cadence mixed-signal solutions to achieve their tape-out goals, optimize performance and power, reduce costs, improve turnaround time and mitigate chip functionality and quality risks.
