Visual Systems Selects SimActive’s Software for DSM Generation

February 18, 2010 -- SimActive Inc., a world-leading developer of software solutions for the generation of geospatial data, is pleased to announce that Japanese firm Visual Systems Co., Ltd. has acquired its Correlator3D™ software.  Visual Systems, one of Japan’s leading geoinformation companies, will be using the product for deriving DSMs from aerial imagery.

“After a thorough study of currently available photogrammetry software, it became evident that Correlator3D™ was the best option” said Seiichi Ohtomo of Visual Systems.  “Its generated digital surface models were accurate, exceptionally fast and wrapped up in SimActive’s easy to use interface allowing us to quickly and efficiently meet our project deadlines.”
