Ingres to Highlight New Geospatial Technology

Ingres Director of Development, Andrew Ross, to Speak at Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial 2009 Conference

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — October 21, 2009 — Ingres Corporation, the leading open source database management company and pioneer of the New Economics of IT, announced today that Andrew Ross, director of development at Ingres, will highlight new geospatial technology at the Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial (FOSS4G) 2009 Conference this week in Sydney, Australia. Ross will give a presentation titled “Rearranging the Landscape of Spatial Database Technology” at the Parkside Auditorium on Thursday, October 22 at 1:30 p.m. (AEDT).
