Flextronics to Take Over Manufacture of HP Large-Format Printers in Singapore

SINGAPORE, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Flextronics (Nasdaq: FLEX), a global provider of operational services focused on delivering design, engineering, manufacturing and logistic solutions to branded technology companies, today announced it will take over the manufacture of Hewlett-Packard Company's large-format printers in Singapore. As part of the move, Flextronics will provide employment to HP's 250 production staff and will operate independently within the HP-owned facility. Flextronics will be responsible for the full assembly of HP's large-format printers.
