Video & Broadcast Industry
IP products addressing the video and broadcast markets must be both versatile and efficient in order to adapt to continuously evolving standards. PLDA has planned several new products for the broadcast industry including, a professional quality, digital audio sample rate converter (SRC) core. With support for up to 8 stereo pairs in and out, the PLDA SRC can replace multiple discrete SRC chips with a single FPGA. AES3/EBU and I2S formats are fully supported, and a broad range of input and output sample rates can be accommodated.

Automotive Industry:
From in-car entertainment systems, to smart appliances, to industrial controls, LCD displays and touch-screen panels are proliferating within the embedded systems market at a rapid pace. Though the target applications for LCD displays can vary widely, the underlying infrastructure requirements are remarkably similar across application domains. PLDA has developed the VIP™ family of IP blocks specifically to address the needs of this growing market.
