"Our partnership with Avnet-ASIC Israel is part of our global sales expansion plan to meet the increasing demand for a fast-turn, yet cost- effective, custom design solution such as Nextreme Structured ASIC," said Fred Lancia, Vice President of Sales for eASIC. "eASIC is pleased to join forces with a leading design and turnkey manufacturing services. Our goal is to broadly introduce our breakthrough Structured ASIC solution and provide our growing Israeli customer-base with world-class sales support and customer service."

"eASIC's Nextreme devices answer the market need for an affordable custom design solution," said Nadav Ben-Ezer, Managing Director of AAI. "The growing market gap between FPGA and Cell-based ASIC demonstrates the greater need for an alternative solution. eASIC's Structured ASICs fit perfectly in this void, removing barriers on design entry and eliminating the need for risky ramp-up from FPGA to Cell-based ASIC. Nextreme, with its broad portfolio of IP, is suitable for a broad range of applications within digital consumer, industrial, wireless, wireline, automotive and military markets."
