Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (Grace) selects Silicon Canvas’ Laker Layout Solution for their Custom IC Designs

San Jose, California, August 29, 2006 – Silicon Canvas, Inc. (SCI) today announced that Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (Grace), a pure-play foundry based in Shanghai, China, has selected Silicon Canvas’ Laker Layout System, the company’s next generation full custom layout solution, as an internal standard for their custom layout designs. Grace deployed Laker Layout System for creating test keys, analog IPs and libraries.

Grace layout designer productivity increased by 30% by using Silicon Canvas’ Laker Layout System, which includes methodology, layout editing, placement, routing and correct-by-construction functionality. “We are constantly looking for ways to improve our time to production.
