"Taiwan is an important market for our DFM products," remarked Mike Gianfagna, president and CEO of Aprio. "With Aprio's winning product strategy and solid vision, we believe that our technology will have substantial impact on this market. The opening of this Taiwan office demonstrates our high level commitment to customers through our expert technical support."
Aprio recently announced that Taiwanese memory solution provider ProMOS Technologies chose Aprio's Halo-Fix, a tool focused on delivering rapid, localized lithography rule check (LRC) repairs for semiconductor manufacturers using third-party LRC and optical proximity correction (OPC) tool sets. Aprio also recently expanded its product line with the release of Halo-iOPC, which addresses both the design and manufacturing communities. Halo-iOPC extends Aprio's Halo technology to allow pre-OPC and reuse of library blocks.
Brian Lin, Aprio's new Asia-Pacific sales director, has 10 years of experience in EDA and semiconductor process equipment and materials. Prior to joining Aprio, Lin was account manager at Synopsys.
