e-Builder Enhances Customer Data Security

New Measures Protect Valuable Construction Data and Access

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 2, 2002--e-Builder ( http://www.e-builder.net) today announced they have moved the company's back-up data center to a state-of-the-art location in Hightstown, NJ. The facility houses several divisions of The McGraw-Hill Companies, including McGraw-Hill Construction Information Group (CIG), an e-Builder investor.

Prior to the move, e-Builder was housing portions of its client data at a large publicly held data center. Noticing the attrition of public data centers in the marketplace, e-Builder worked with McGraw-Hill Construction Information Group to bring all e-Builder data under the safety and security of the Hightstown facility.

"The new storage location gives e-Builder an unparalleled ability to protect client data and access," said Jonathan N. Antevy, CEO and co-founder of e-Builder. "We are increasingly seeing our clients entrust us with their entire construction program data. e-Builder is working with companies that have multi-million and multi-billion dollar construction programs. Our customers simply cannot afford to lose access to their data."

"CIG is assisting e-Builder in ensuring uninterrupted service to its clients. We look forward to further benefiting the construction industry through this expansion of our relationship," said Norbert Young, president of McGraw-Hill Construction Information Group.
