Aware, Inc. Reports 2005 Third Quarter Financial Results
BEDFORD, Mass., Oct. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Aware, Inc. (NASDAQ:
AWRE), a worldwide leader and innovator of broadband intellectual property, today reported financial results for its third quarter ended September 30, 2005.
Revenues for the third quarter of 2005 were $5.1 million compared to $4.6 million for the same period last year. Net income for the third quarter of 2005 was $0.6 million, or $0.02 per share, compared to net income of $0.2 million, or $0.01 per share, for the year-ago period. For the nine months ended September 30, 2005, revenues were $12.0 million compared to $11.9 million in the same period last year. Net loss for the nine months ended September 30, 2005 was $1.3 million or $0.06 per share, compared to a net loss of $1.8 million, or $0.08 per share, for the year-ago period.
