NI AWR Design Environment Application Note Describes Design Process for UWB Receiver

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – Feb. 10, 2016 --  A new NI AWR Design Environment™ application note describes the design, optimization, and production process for a complete ultra-wideband (UWB) receiver (antenna to A/D input), including both the RF circuit design and the printed circuit board (PCB) layout for manufacturing. Beginning with the high-level design and system performance optimization within NI AWR Design Environment, the UWB design then progressed to include complete schematic, RF layout, and electromagnetic (EM) design optimization. Total time from start to prototype construction was less than three months.
