Narrowband Filter Design With NI AWR Design Environment Featured in Webinar

NI (formerly AWR Corporation) will sponsor an upcoming  Narrowband Planar Filter Design With NI AWR Design Environment one-hour live webinar, part of the Microwave Journal RF/Microwave Training Webinar Series. Presented by Daniel G. Swanson, Jr. of SW Filter Design, the webinar discusses a straightforward design flow using  NI AWR Design Environment™ that efficiently addresses the challenges of designing planar microwave filters for low-cost printed circuit board (PCB) environments as well as high performance thin-film technologies.

The flow includes narrowband filter design concepts and cross-coupled filter concepts, followed by EM modeling, tuning concepts, and, finally, physical adjustments and EM simulation of the complete filter. This procedure is more efficient and intuitive than brute force optimization of filter dimensions in an EM simulator.
