A Fourth Generation of Programmable Mixed-signal Matrix ICs

Silego Technology’s 2.0 mm x 3.0 mm 18-GPIO SLG46620V GreenPAK4 strengthens analog features and accuracy

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — March 12, 2015 — Silego Technology announces the fourth generation of GreenPAK (GPAK) Mixed-signal Matrix ICs. The GPAK4 family strengthens Silego’s industry leading position in Configurable Mixed-signal ICs (CMIC).

Silego’s GPAK4 family of NVM Programmable CMIC devices enables innovative designers to integrate many system functions such as comparators, ADCs, logic, delays, counters, resets, power sequencing, voltage sensing, and interface circuits while minimizing component count, board space, and power consumption.

The SLG46620V is the first member of the 4th generation of GPAK products comprising the best analog and digital resources from previous generations with expanded functionality and improved accuracy. The SLG46620V has nearly double the on-chip resources when compared to previous generation parts. This new device also includes new functions, such as a hardware reset pin and a DAC. The chip is available in a tiny 2.0 x 3.0 x 0.55 mm 20-pin STQFN.

Like other devices in the GPAK family, development of SLG46620V projects takes advantage of the easy-to-use GPAK development hardware and simple GUI interface of GPAK Designer, allowing engineers to quickly and easily implement new designs and respond to changing design requirements.

“With the SLG46620V GreenPAK4, we are giving our customers a powerful new device that adds higher precision analog capabilities to designs with an already high level of integration,” states Nathan John, Director of Marketing. “The GreenPAK family continues its rapid expansion with this latest and greatest generation. Silego’s breadth of offerings combined with the speed of development using our products gives designers the edge needed to succeed in the increasingly fast-paced and competitive electronics markets.”

Target Applications include:

  • Consumer Electronics
    • Portable: Tablets, Smartphones, Notebooks
    • PCs and PC peripherals
    • Wearable
  • Commercial and Industrial Electronics
    • Servers
    • Embedded PCs
    • Data Communications Equipment
