December 05, 2013. Beaverton, Oregon: e-on software, maker of the leading solutions for Digital Nature, announced today the immediate availability of the free Vue xStream and Infinite 2014 PLE (Personal Learning Edition), together with the trial versions of its products for 3D Artists, Vue Esprit, Studio and Complete 2014.
Vue Infinite 2014 and Vue xStream 2014 are the latest production-driven versions of e-on software's professional solutions for the creation, animation and rendering of natural 3D environments. Personal Learning Edition (PLE)
The Vue 2014 PLE is a fully functional version of Vue xStream/Infinite 2014. With this release, e-on software has lifted some of the limitations of previous versions of the PLE. In particular, PLE users can:
- Create complete projects, save their work and export to other applications,
- Render in FullHD (for stills) and animations up to 720p,
- Experience Vue's power directly inside 3ds Max/Maya/Softimage/LightWave/Cinema4D,
- Try Vue RenderNodes on their network,
- Learn at their own pace (the PLE never expires)!
The Personal Learning Edition ships with a wide selection of Vue presets, as well as the full PDF Reference manual. More presets are available in the commercial version.
Users can download the Vue 2014 PLE at no charge from www.vue3d.com/ple.
With Vue 2014, students don't have to pay to learn Vue!
The Vue 2014 Personal Learning Edition allows any Artist or Student to learn the best Digital Nature tool for free. The PLE now outputs files that can be rendered without limitation using an ATC license. Students can thus work from home using the free PLE and bring their work back to school for use (and final rendering) using their school's resources.
PLE Requirements and Restrictions
The Vue 2014 Personal Learning Edition is available in English for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8, and on Mac OSX 10.6+ (Mac Intel only) for both 32 and 64 bit.
Scene files created and saved with the PLE cannot be exchanged with other PLE users and are not compatible with other versions of Vue except ATC Licenses.
The PLE is for personal, non-commercial use only, and renders may be watermarked and carry a logo.
