EMO Hannover, organised by the VDM, the Germany Machine Tool Builders’ Association, is the leading trade fair in the World of Metalworking. This year, Hall 25 was where you would go to see the latest in industrial robotics solutions. ROBOTMASTER® was there, putting their efficiency and innovative power to the test before the robot specialists from around the world. The industry-leading position of ROBOTMASTER was demonstrated, not only by its impressive capabilities on display, but also by the fact that 6 out of the 7 working robots presented in Hall 25 by various exhibitors were programmed by ROBOTMASTER! The 145,000 show visitors from 43 countries were able to witness ROBOTMASTER’s versatility on six different robot models from four major manufacturers, executing milling, trimming, deburring, engraving and fly-cutting tasks on carbon fibre, wood and aluminium work pieces.
ROBOTMASTER V6 was featured in the ROBOTMASTER booth, presenting many new capabilities, including:
- new tools for robot welding, plasma/laser and spray/coating that require point specific control enabling end-users to intuitively and dynamically apply process specific parameters (control power settings, speeds, cut parameters, etc.) at any selected point;
- a radically improved part setup process enabling the user to intuitively visualize the and control the robot in the workspace environment for quick part/workspace position optimization,
- a newly redesigned robot repositioning tool to manage transitions between different trajectories;
capabilities that reinforce ROBOTMASTER’s value as a powerful, easy to use and integrated software solution for CAD model import/creation, path generation, advanced robot kinematic resolution (singularities, joint limits, over travel, reach, etc.), simulation and code generation.
