(RED)™ and Adobe Announce Student Design Competition

WINNER TO DESIGN DIGITAL ARTWORK FOR 2013 'DANCE (RED) SAVE LIVES 2' COMPILATION ALBUM USING ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD TOOLS

NEW YORK, Aug. 20, 2013 — (PRNewswire) —  (RED) and Adobe® today announced a worldwide digital design competition, offering students a way to become creatively involved in one of the greatest challenges of our time – the fight to end AIDS. Students submitting current work from their portfolios will have a chance to collaborate with pioneering artist, Futura, on the digital album artwork for (RED)'s forthcoming 2013 compilation, 'DANCE (RED) SAVE LIVES 2' releasing in the weeks prior to World AIDS Day on December 1st. Album artwork will be created using Adobe Creative Cloud™ that gives access to all the latest and greatest Adobe creative software and services.

Competition submission details, as well as competition rules and regulations, can be found by visiting www.Behance.net. The deadline for competition entry is 9/13/13.  The winning student will be announced on or around 9/23/13.

Deborah Dugan, CEO (RED) says, "Last year's 'DANCE (RED) SAVE LIVES' album went to #1 in 33 countries on the iTunes dance charts and saw the world's dance fans rally to join the fight. For 2013, we want to blow this out even further by making the 'DANCE (RED) SAVE LIVES 2 ' experience both musically and visually inspiring, and Adobe Creative Cloud tools are perfect to help us achieve this."

American graffiti artist Futura adds, "Every artist aspires to communicate a powerful message through their work. With this competition, Adobe Creative Cloud and (RED) are providing students with a dream opportunity to do just that, while entering the public arena on a global scale. I am very excited to be a part of the process and mentor the winning student."

In addition to featuring the winning student's album artwork on digital versions of the album globally, the much anticipated 'DANCE (RED) SAVE LIVES 2' album will also include new, exclusive, and remixed tracks by the world's most sought after DJs and EDM forerunners.

"Adobe is about changing the world through digital experiences by integrating the world's best tools with the world's creative community," said John Travis, vice president of brand marketing at Adobe. "This is a great opportunity for a talented student to be a part of a global project that saves lives."
