Leggett & Platt to Present on Integrating Logistics & Compliance at SCM World Leaders Forum

VP, Customs Compliance To Speak on Transforming its Global Supply Chain with Amber Road's GTM Software

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ, May 7, 2013 -- Amber Road, a leading provider of global trade management (GTM) solutions, announced that John Wainwright, vice president of customs compliance at Leggett & Platt, Inc., will be speaking at this year's SCM World Leaders Forum on how the diversified manufacturer transformed its global supply chain by integrating its import and supplier management functions with Amber Road.

This year's invitation-only event, held in Gleneagles, Scotland (near Edinburgh), June 9 - 11, focuses on increasing a company's supply chain agility to deal with change, including pioneering new ways to segment supply chains, collaborate with customers and tightly align product development with the supply chain.

"I am honored to have this opportunity to speak to industry leaders on how we have used technology from Amber Road to integrate hundreds of suppliers, realize a 2-3% percent product cost savings, and create a unified and cohesive logistics, compliance and procurement process," said Wainwright. "SCM World Leaders Forum is one of the world's premier supply chain events, bringing together top executives and thought leaders to gain insight into addressing today's global supply chain issues."

Now in its third year, the SCM World Leaders Forum is the annual retreat for the world's supply chain, procurement and operations elite, bringing together the most influential C-level executives from the SCM World community together with selected thought leaders from across industry

Mr. Wainwright has been involved in multiple facets of international trade for over two decades. He is both an international trade attorney licensed to practice before the U.S. Court of International Trade, as well as a licensed U.S. Customhouse Broker. Leggett & Platt, Inc. is an S&P 500 diversified manufacturer.

"We are delighted that Leggett & Platt will be sharing their success story at the SCM World Leaders Forum," said John Preuninger, President and COO of Amber Road. "Integrating logistics and compliance, is a key supply chain strategy that global supply chain leaders should adopt to remain agile."
