Built on top of the foundation of Inphi's first generation PHY/SerDes GB the IN112510-LC, the second generation Inphi GB ICs are built to support Tri-Rate line cards while exceeding critical performance parameters in the IEEE 802.3ba, SFF-8431, OIF-28G-VSR and ITU specifications.
Inphi's 100G CMOS PHY/SerDes GB is based on the unique and groundbreaking iPHY architecture which is purpose built for client side networking interfaces that push the envelope on power, performance, integration, latency and cost. Unlike other GB and FPGA offerings that attempt to cover too many data rates in unrelated applications, Inphi's GB is purpose-built for supply power and performance sensitive 10G, 40G and 100G optical line cards for enterprise and data center networks. Consuming as low as 2.3-W, latency < 15-ns and Rj < 180fs rms, Inphi's new IN112510-LD is the lowest power, highest performing CMOS PHY/SerDes GB IC in the industry.
Inphi Tri-Rate PHY/SerDes GB Now Sampling
The second generation iPHY PHY/SerDes is a single-chip, low-power PHY for 10:4 GB and 10:10 retimer applications. These cover 10G, 40G, 100G Ethernet and OTN high-density line cards with 10G and 25-28 Gbps electrical interfaces. Other technical features include:
