WHO: The Accellera Systems Initiative, an independent non-profit organization focused on the creation and adoption of electronic design automation (EDA) and intellectual property (IP) standards for design and verification, announced it will host an open teleconference with the SystemC Community to present, discuss and review the Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) 2.0 draft standard. The public review period ends April 30.
WHAT: Open Teleconference with the community to review the SystemC AMS 2.0 draft standard. The SystemC AMS community of users, architects, designers and ESL tool developers are encouraged to participate in this review by providing feedback on this standard update.
WHEN: THURSDAY, April 19 -- SystemC AMS 2.0 draft standard Teleconference
TIME: 17:00-19:00 - Central Europe; 11:00am-1:00pm - US Eastern; 8:00-10:00am - US Pacific; 8:30-10:30pm Bangalore; 11:00pm-1:00am Shanghai
The agenda will include an introduction of the SystemC AMS 2.0 draft standard updates made to the AMS language reference manual (LRM), followed by a discussion. The session concludes with an open question and answer period.
Registration is required to attend this open forum. Find out the dial in details and register for further information at our website: http://www.accellera.org/activities/committees/systemc-ams/ams_2_draft_teleconference/.
The SystemC AMS 2.0 draft standard is available for download under the SystemC open source license at www.accellera.org. A presentation will be available on the public AMSWG page and will be communicated via the AMS discussion forum.
WHY: The SystemC AMS 2.0 draft standard introduces dynamic features to the Timed Data Flow (TDF) model of computation, the abstract modeling style introduced in SystemC AMS. Since the release of the SystemC AMS 1.0 standard two years ago, the AMS Working Group has now formalized the execution semantics and language constructs for these dynamic features, which are documented in the AMS Language Reference Manual. Feedback from the worldwide user community is sought to improve and refine the standard.
