Pravin Madhani brings more than 13 years of experience in the EDA industry. Prior to co-founding Sierra, he was the Co-Founder, President & CEO of Everest Design Automation. Everest was a venture-backed startup in the area of deep-submicron place & route tools. Everest was acquired by Synopsys in November, 1998. Mr. Madhani has also held various positions in marketing,
R&D and management with Synopsys, SGI/MIPS EDA division, and LSI Logic EDA division. Mr. Madhani received his Masters in Computer Engineering from the
University of Texas at Austin and his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India.
