Dr. Wang was a Senior Vice President of Synopsys from 1997 to 1998. Prior to that, he was a cofounder and CEO of EPIC Design Technology from 1986 to 1997. EPIC went public in 1994 and was acquired by Synopsys in 1997. Dr. Wang received his MS from Ohio State University and Ph.D. from Stanford University. Dr. Wang was appointed to the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Consortium board of directors in 2002.
