In the summer of 2006, Mango was developing a stateof-the-art embedded reference design for intelligent IP surveillance cameras. Mango’s goal was to provide their customers with a common intelligent video platform that would enable the seamless adaptation of third-party analytic algorithms at the camera source. They also wanted to be first to market with a more extensive feature set than the competition on intelligent video application.
