The paper describes KaiSemi's unique automated FPGA-to-ASIC conversion process. The process which provides customers with a seamless full turnkey ASIC solution, enabling the customer to buy fully compatible replacement chips. KaiSemi's process uses an in-house tool which performs an automated conversion directly from the original FPGA netlist into a functionally-identical ASIC gate-level netlist.
