The increasing complexities of modern SoCs and short time-to-market requirements have made efficient reuse of in-house and 3rd party IP mission critical. Since most IP requires some degree of modification before reuse, it’s critical to address the root problems of efficient comprehension, modification, and re-verification in IP reuse. This paper describes a promising new technology and methodology that consists of putting IP through a "reuse enabling" process.
