Featured By: Kelvin Nilsen and Michael Benkel The Unified Modeling Language (UML) provides standard abstractions to simplify the documentation, understanding and maintenance of complex software systems. Extensions to standard UML can be used to represent schedulability, performance and timing of real-time software. These extensions are described in UML Profile for Schedulability, Performance, and Time Specification (SPT), published by the Object Management Group (OMG) in 2002.
