Thursday, September 13th, 2012

Please join the IEEE Council on Electronic Design Automation (CEDA) as we present two achievement awards during the opening session of ICCAD November 5 at the Hilton Hotel in San Jose.

Luca Carloni, associate professor of Computer Science at Columbia University in New York, will receive this year’s Early Career Award for seminal contributions to system-level design, including latency-insensitive design, on-chip communications synthesis and compositional design-space exploration. Joel Phillips of Cadence Design Systems will be presented with the Outstanding Service Contribution Award for his work as ICCAD’s General Chair in 2011.

Both have made important contributions to EDA.
