Short Desc. : Posedge RF-2220 --WLAN 2X2 MIMO RF Transceiver
Overview :
The Posedge WLAN RF Transceiver (PE-RF-2220) is a low-cost, low-power, high-performance, and a highly-integrated RF transceiver for 802.11b/g/n with two RF chains in both Transmit and Receive to support 2x2 MIMO.

PE-RF-2220 provides very accurate RSSI/TSSI indications for tight power control, fine TSSI analog calibration, and to aid in faster AGC convergence and ACI mitigation.

PE-RF-2220 is a direct conversion transceiver with Supply and Temperature Sensors for self-calibration and PVT tolerance. The Power up time is less so that multiple power states can be implemented efficiently.

External and Internal Interference is one of the biggest factor in the RF performance and it is addressed very effectively with High RX – TX signal isolation, Maximize distance between high gain elements and noise sources. Extensive use DNW for both source and target. The transceiver has Low Phase Noise, and employs techniques to reduce noise in radio.

The solution further reduces cost and improves immunity to supply noise by integrating the LDOs without external Caps for VCO sourcing up to 35mA of current.
