Overview :
The Sarnoff H.263 Codec (Encoder/Decoder) enables the
encoding and playback of H.263 video on handheld and
portable multimedia devices. Sarnoff’s codec permits
faster time to market and reduced schedule risk.
The codec is a highly enhanced, software-driven solution
that will run on a variety of processors and DSPs. Years
of Sarnoff’s renowned video expertise was leveraged to
develop optimal encoding algorithms for the handheld
and portable multimedia device market. This software
driven solution can run on processors with or without
hardware acceleration and multimedia instruction sets.
Written in C code, the codec is easily ported to your
chosen processor.
