Beceem's Leading Chipset Solution Delivers Seamless Mobility to Mobile WiMAX Devices

SANTA CLARA, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—February 7, 2008— Beceem Communications (www.beceem.com), a leading provider of terminal chipsets for Mobile WiMAX, today announced the selection of its latest chipset for mobile WiMAX devices as one of the chipsets that broadband pioneer Clearwire Corporation (NASDAQ: CLWR) is working with for its mobile WiMAX trial in Portland, Oregon. Beceem's leading chipset solution is powering a family of PC peripheral WiMAX devices to provide a true mobile broadband Internet experience on laptop computers.
