With more than 25 years of semiconductor industry experience, Dr. Oh has served in a number of key management positions with major semiconductor companies including Samsung Electronics and Texas Instruments, both of which are current DongbuAnam customers. Commenting on his appointment, Dr. Oh said, "I look forward to leveraging industry experience and global contacts to improve DongbuAnam's profit structure as we continue developing specialized technologies and diversifying our base of strategic partners."
Dr. Oh comes to DongbuAnam from Samsung Electronics where he most recently served as a Corporate Executive Vice President at Samsung Electronics Company, General Manager of the Computer & Internet System Business Division. During his tenure at Samsung, he also served as Chief Operating Officer and in top executive positions for the System-on-Chip R&D Center and the Digital Media R&D Center. Prior to Samsung, he worked at Texas Instruments, where he led the development of Digital Signal Processor (DSP) solutions for digital cameras as well as the strategic marketing of mixed-signal semiconductors and new business development for the firm's scanner-printer and optical processes. Earlier in his career he participated in DSP and speech processor design as an R&D Engineer at AT&T Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill, New Jersey. Dr. Oh holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
