William H. Wrean has served as Chairman and director since 1995. Since 1972, Mr. Wrean has been a partner in Sacajawea & Company, a firm providing economic research, counsel and discretionary portfolio management. He currently serves as its managing partner. During this period, he also served as a director, governor or trustee of several other organizations in the Boston area and published an econometric study of the loan credit sector of the US economy. Prior to that, he served as an Honorary Research Fellow at Harvard University, an Associate Professor of Economics and Finance at the College of Business Administration of Boston University, an Assistant Professor of Economics and Finance at the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration of Dartmouth College and an Instructor of Economics of Dartmouth College. Mr. Wrean received his M.S. and Ph.D. in economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and was an executive trainee at Citicorp and Brown Brown Harriman in New York City. He received his B.A. in American Studies from Yale University.
Robert P. Badavas has served as a director since April 2004. Since November 2003, Mr. Badavas has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of TAC Worldwide Companies, a provider of technical staffing workforce solutions. From September 2001 to November 2003, Mr. Badavas was Senior Principal and Chief Operating Officer of Atlas Venture, a venture capital firm. From November 2000 through June 2001, Mr. Badavas served as Senior Corporate Advisor, Office of the Chairman for Aether Systems, Inc., a provider of wireless data products and services. From September 2000 to November 2000, Mr. Badavas managed Aether Mobile Government division, which consisted of Cerulean Technology, Inc.'s business. Mr. Badavas served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cerulean Technology, Inc., a provider of wireless mobile information systems applications, from December 1995 until the sale of Cerulean Technology, Inc. to Aether Systems, Inc. in September 2000. Mr. Badavas served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, among other capacities of Chipcom Corporation, a manufacturer of computer networking intelligent switching systems, from October 1986 to October 1995. Mr. Badavas currently serves as a director and the chairman of the audit committee of RSA Security, Inc., a provider of authentication and security technology. Mr. Badavas has been registered as a certified public accountant in Massachusetts. Mr. Badavas received his B.S. in accounting from Bentley College.
John J. Cullinane has served as a director since April 2004. As Founder of Cullinet Software, Inc. John was one of the pioneers in the software products industry and was viewed by Wall Street as the first person in the industry to figure out how to make money at it. His company also pioneered advanced database technology with applications and decision support systems for manufacturing, power, and the hospital industries. As such, Cullinet was the first software products company ever to have an IPO (1978), to be listed on the NYSE (1983), and to reach a billion dollars in valuation (1986). In the last 15 years Mr. Cullinane has spent considerable time on many community projects including peace in Northern Ireland through jobs and economic development. During the past three years he has promoted the Northern Ireland experience as a model for peace in the Middle East. As a result, he was recently invited to participate in the Aspen Institute's Middle East Strategy Group, Co-chaired by Secretaries of State Madeleine Albright and Henry Kissinger. The Group has adopted his idea of "smart" call centers, made possible by LiveData technology, as a job creating initiative for Gaza should the Israelis pull out. John has been a long time investor in LiveData and, most recently, became Chairman of the Board in recognition of the importance of LiveData's RTI 5.0 system as the first in a new category of technology called smart integration.
John F. Rockart has served as a director since April 2004. Since July 2002, Dr. Rockart has been Senior Lecturer, Emeritus at the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. From July 2000 to July 2002, Dr. Rockart was the Sandra and George Schussel Distinguished Senior Lecturer of Information Technology at the Sloan School of Management. From July 1974 to July 2000, Dr. Rockart was the Director of the Center for Information Systems Research at the Sloan School of Management. Dr. Rockart currently serves as a director of Keane, Inc., a provider of outsourcing services, and as a director of Selective Insurance Group Inc., a property and casualty insurance company. Dr. Rockart received his A.B. in public and international affairs from Princeton University, his M.B.A. from Harvard University, and his Ph.D. in information technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Laurence G. Walker has served as a director since March 2004. Previously, Mr. Walker co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of C-Port Corporation, a network processing company, which was acquired by Motorola, Inc. in 2000. Following the acquisition, Mr. Walker served as Vice President of Strategy for Motorola's Network and Computing Systems Group and then as Vice President and General Manager of the Network and Computing Systems Group until 2002. From August 1996 to May 1997, Mr. Walker served as Chief Executive Officer of CertCo, a digital certification supplier. Mr. Walker served as Vice President and General Manager, Network Products Business Unit, of Digital Equipment Corporation from January 1994 to July 1996. From 1981 to 1994, he held a variety of other management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation. Mr. Walker currently serves as a director of McDATA Corporation, a provider of multi-capable storage networking solutions, and as a director of Silicon Laboratories, a designer of high-performance, analog-intensive, mixed-signal integrated circuits. Mr. Walker received his B.S. in electrical engineering from Princeton University and his M.S. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
John J. Koger, founder of Oasis, has served as President and a director since November 1995. He was elected Chief Executive Officer in February 2004. From 1986 through 1994, Mr. Koger held a variety of positions with Digital Equipment Corporation, a vertically-integrated computer company, including Multimedia Chips Marketing Manager, Project Leader, and Principal Engineer. In 1995, Mr. Koger was a Semiconductor Marketing Manager for Pixel Magic, Inc., a digital imaging solutions company. Mr. Koger received his B.S. in electrical engineering from Princeton University and his M.S. in electrical engineering from Columbia University.
