The expansion project included a technology upgrade to enhance its productivity for the entire printed circuit board assembly process from PCB prototype service to high-volume PCB assembly.

TORONTO — (BUSINESS WIRE) — August 1, 2013 — Asian Circuits, Inc., a Toronto-based PCB assembly services firm, announced today the completion of the expansion and technology upgrade of its PCB Fab and Assembly Facility. Located in Shenzhen, China, the facility has been expanded to over 35,000 square feet including the addition of new state-of-the-art assembly and testing equipment. This expansion project will enable Asian Circuits to provide its high-quality contract manufacturing services more quickly with greater output in order to accommodate a growing demand for its services.

Despite economic uncertainty, 2012 was banner year for Asian Circuits, which obtained a 15 percent year-over-year growth in revenues. With the growing demand for printed circuit board (PCB) printing and assembly services, the facilities expansion will ease the company’s capacity constraints.

• Ekra X5 Professional automated screen printer: used for solder paste and/or glue applications on PCBs, ceramics or glass substrates, with an extended printing area of up to 508x508mm (20 x 20 inches)
• The SRT rework station: provides for lead free BGA and micro BGA.
• Nicolet X-ray, Yes tech AOI, Mirtec inline fully automatic AOI and 5DX X-ray inspection machines for the BGA inspection process to ensure consistent production quality.
