Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) allow the end user to fully customize his system to specific functionality requirements, based on validated library components which allow for ease of certification of the final system. These library components contain the IP of the OEM or PLC manufacturer.
SCADE Solutions for Safe PLC Applications enable the creation of certifiable components for PLCs, with full logic and control laws for complex applications such as rail automation, offshore applications, robotics, processing, refinery and manufacturing industries. Based on the industry-proven technology of SCADE Suite, the design flow enables full traceability and lifecycle integration from requirements to the embedded library component.
The KCG Adaptor for the KW-Software safety technology platform seamlessly integrates the application with the scalable and flexible software platform, which includes the runtime system Safeos, compilers, communication stacks and development tools, all certified to IEC61508 SIL3 requirements.
SCADE Solutions for Safe PLC Applications integrate with other Esterel Technologies model-based development tools.
