ClioSoft, Synopsys and MunEDA to Host Seminar on Improving Productivity for Analog/ Mixed-signal and Custom Design Teams

FREMONT, Calif., March 19, 2010 – On March 25th, 2010, ClioSoft, Inc., the developer of the premier hardware configuration management (HCM) system for the electronics design industry, will host a seminar with Synopsys, Inc.(Nasdaq: SNPS) and MunEDA on how to use advanced design and simulation tools, analog intellectual property (IP), and design data management (DDM) solutions to improve productivity for designers of analog/ mixed signal (A/MS) and custom integrated circuits.

WHAT:  The seminar will focus on helping large and geographically-dispersed A/MS and custom design teams become more productive using advanced design and simulation tools, analog IP, and DDM solutions. Design teams need a comprehensive DDM solution to handle the challenge of collaborative data management for semiconductor projects. The solution must handle the design, the libraries, and the collateral data and seamlessly integrate into the user’s design flow. Attendees will learn how to improve team productivity through efficient data management while reducing re-spins and meeting schedules. The combination of Synopsys Custom Designer integrated with ClioSoft's SOS DDM platform and MunEDA’s analog design performance and yield optimization products provides a complete solution to maximize team productivity.

WHEN:  Thursday, March 25th, 2010, from 9:00am to 2:30pm, including lunch

WHERE:  Synopsys, 20 Pacifica, Suite 1150, Irvine, California

About ClioSoft:

ClioSoft is the premier developer of hardware configuration management (HCM) solutions for hardware design. The company's SOS design data collaboration platform is built from the ground up to handle the requirements of hardware design flows. The SOS platform gives design teams the freedom and flexibility to choose the way they work, share and collaborate, enabling efficient management of design data from concept through tape-out and improving global team productivity. Custom engineered adaptors seamlessly integrate SOS with leading design flows – Cadence’s Virtuoso® Custom IC, Synopsys’ Galaxy Custom Designer, Mentor’s ICstudio, and SpringSoft’s Laker™ Custom Layout Automation System. ClioSoft's innovative Universal DM Adaptor technology "future proofs" data management needs by ensuring that data from any flow can be meaningfully managed.
