Silvaco Announces Final Settlement With Circuit Semantics Resolving All Legal Disputes

SANTA CLARA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Aug 15, 2006 -- Silvaco, a leading provider of technology computer aided design (TCAD) software, today announced the definitive agreement that ends litigation between Silvaco and Circuit Semantics Inc. (CSI). As a result of this settlement, Silvaco has obtained full ownership of all former CSI Dyna group of products, including patent rights and source code as of the last official day of business of CSI on August 15, 2004. Simucad will continue the development, sales and support of these products under the names AccuCell™ and AccuCore™.
