More than 11,000 Attend 43rd Design Automation Conference for Highest Turnout in Five Years

SAN FRANCISCO—(BUSINESS WIRE)—July 27, 2006— Based on preliminary registration data released today by the 43rd Design Automation Conference (DAC), 11,352 people have participated in this year's event, making total attendance the highest since 2001. These preliminary DAC attendance numbers broken out by category are: 3,231 registered conference attendees; 3,421 registered exhibit attendees and 4,700 total exhibitors, visitors and guests.
